IT Automation DevOps Elasticsearch Engineer

Provide Site Reliability engineering to all Elasticsearch services, write/update/maintain code and filters related to Elasticsearch, highest point of escalation related to Elasticsearch, contribute to design sessions.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

TASKS: deploy/update/manage/maintain all elasticsearch environments and automation, write code to ingest data and deploy and support elasticsearch, support existing code.

Normal business hours Monday-Friday 35 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work).

960 If the consultant works more than 35 hours per week, the consultant must request overtime in the Agency's timekeeping system and the project manager must approve those hours worked above the weekly maximum.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 8 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, method;

– pipelines

– bash and/or powershell scripting

– data processing and data pipelining experience

– kibana dashboarding

– kubernetes

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

– azure storage

– azure networking

– project management experience

– logstash and log stash filters

– vmware vsphere

– helm

– at least 1 primary coding language such as: python, nodejs, golang
